A blog about not blogging. Or…blogging - less.

That’s the kind of blog I should have started. Blogging regularly is tough. T O U G H!

I think my biggest hang-up is, I don’t feel like I have anything worth blogging about. Do I? Well, I don’t know. Maybe? But that’s only part of it. The other obstacle is social media. Not because it gets in my way. But because it so much more convenient to share shareable things via Google+.

Tutorials are definitely better suited for blogging. But what about spur of the moment photo sharing? Or that random, obscure question you need to ask? I’ve built a great network on The Plus. I love my G+ family! Full of advice, inspiration, and motivation. Not to mention, so many hotties! you know who you are

So don’t go hatin’ me for not blogging. Hate on how awesome all the folks over at G+ are! Okay. Don’t hate them. Cause I’ll come looking for you! Join them!

I always want to blog. I just don’t get around to it too often. If you really want to keep up with what I’m doing, find me on G+. *WARNING* - It’s not all hugs and kisses over there. I post what I’m thinking. So I drop the occasional F*bomb. That’s real. But I do still post nice, warm fuzzies too.

Strokes of Love

Push. Push harder.

Yep, just sounds bad. But that’s what I had to tell Davin, when he was trying to type with a typewriter for the first time. Do you remember how hard you had to push those keys? I didn’t either!

I ran out to Staples and picked up a brand new ribbon for this typewriter, that I scored at a yard sale a little over a year ago. Pretty sweet, right? Staples actually had the ribbon in stock, and it was only 6 bucks! I know! Me too!

So after showing Davin how to use it, this is what I found on the piece of paper, later in the day. I didn’t get pictures yet, but he’s added to it. Not even sure what some of it is. He just types as he passes it in the hallway. You gotta love that!

I’m lovin’ this thing. I’m gonna write type someone a letter. I am too. When was the last time you actually used a manual typewriter?

Vertical She Grows

Up. Reaching for the sky.

Another group of grass and weed randomness. Who knows, maybe a flower will even make an appearance? No guarantees.

All of these were shot with with a Sony 50mm macro lens. Most at 1:1. A couple at 2:1. If Blogger leaves the EXIF data intact, you can see the camera settings. There are tons of EXIF viewers out there. I use a Chrome extension called Exponator.
