Before There Was Paint

My little fingers were clean. And soft.

It just dawned on me, that since I started this blog, most of my posts are about furniture or DIY topics. My readers are here for the furniture. Good. But what most of them you may not know, is that before all the paint flinging, I generally had a camera strapped to my hands.

I ran a successful photography business, Around395 Photography, for about 5 years. Sorry, most of the links on the site have been disabled. It’s expensive to keep up websites that just don’t generate business anymore. You can still view some portraits there to give you an idea of what I did.

Like most photographers, I didn’t start out doing portraits. I started with the basics. Things that don’t move. Landscapes, still life, macro. Love photographing bugs and flowers! Obviously, I can’t share everything here, but I can link! If you’re interested in seeing a bit of what I do with a camera, each picture below will take you to a different type of image gallery.

Do you have more than one hobby? If so, what is it?
